PLEASE READ THESE AGREEMENT(S) (COLLECTIVELY "AGREEMENTS") CAREFULLY BEFORE USING ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR SOFTWARE PROVIDED BY HOME SWEET HOME QUALITY CLEANING SERVICES LLC (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS HOME SWEET HOME QCS LLC). BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR DOWNLOADING ANY ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THESE AGREEMENTS.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THESE AGREEMENTS, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, AND DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED BY HOME SWEET HOME QCS LLC. IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A PRODUCT OR SERVICE AND DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MAY RETURN IT WITHIN THE APPLICABLE RETURN PERIOD TO THE AUTHORIZED RETAILER OR DISTRIBUTOR WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED, SUBJECT TO HOME SWEET HOME QCS LLC’S RETURN POLICY.
1. Scope & Definitions
This Hazard Policy applies to all services classified as Hazard Services, including but not limited to:

Crime Scene Cleanup
-
Trauma, Decomposition, and Bodily Fluid Cleanup
2. Definitions

Hazard Services: Cleaning or remediation services involving biological, chemical, or environmental risks that require specialized handling, equipment, training, and disposal.

Biohazard Materials: Substances that may pose a risk to human health, including blood, bodily fluids, tissues, contaminated materials, waste, sharps, pests, and materials affected by decomposition or infestation.
3. Client Disclosure & Acknowledgment
By requesting or authorizing Hazard Services, the client acknowledges and agrees that:

The service environment may contain known or unknown hazardous conditions.

All known details related to the hazard (e.g., bodily fluids, decomposition, pests, chemical exposure, law enforcement involvement) have been disclosed prior to service.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in service delays, additional fees, or service refusal.
4. Safety Standards & Compliance
All Hazard Services will be performed by trained personnel equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, respirators, protective suits, and eye protection. Staff training complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations for hazardous materials handling and bloodborne pathogen exposure. OSHA
Personnel may be trained in standards including, but not limited to:

OSHA Hazard Communication Standard

PPE and respiratory protection requirements
These standards ensure safe operations and minimize exposure risks to both clients and team members.
5. Hazard Assessment & Service Authorization
Before any Hazard Service begins, an initial assessment will be performed (either onsite or remotely) to determine:

Scope of contamination

Necessary equipment and PPE
-
Proper disposal methods
-
Any structural or environmental risks
The Home Sweet Home QCS LLC reserves the right to defer or reschedule service if conditions pose imminent danger. The client will be notified of any changes and given options for safe remediation.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate access information and ensuring safe entry to the service area.

Securing pets, occupants, and unauthorized individuals away from the work area.

Removing personal valuables or non-affected items when possible.
-
Complying with any temporary evacuation or access restrictions during service.
Failure to provide accurate information or safe access may delay service and result in additional fees.
7. Waste Handling & Disposal
Hazardous waste (including biohazard materials) will be collected in appropriate containers and disposed of in accordance with federal, state, and local disposal regulations. This may involve disposal fees or coordination with licensed disposal facilities.
Clients may be responsible for any third-party disposal costs incurred.
8. Property Conditions & Limitations
Hazard Services focus on remediation and sanitation, not restoration or reconstruction unless separately contracted. Home Sweet Home QCS LLC is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage, structural instability, or material deterioration.

Damage resulting from necessary removal of contaminated materials.
-
Hidden conditions discovered after service completion.
9. Confidentiality & Sensitivity
All Hazard Services are conducted with discretion and professionalism. Client information, service details, and sensitive circumstances are treated as confidential and shared only as required for service execution, safety, or legal compliance.
10. Scheduling, Cancellations & Deposits
Hazard Services may require:

A signed service agreement.

A non-refundable deposit at or before booking.

Prepayment or payment upon completion.
Cancellation or rescheduling requests must comply with Home Sweet Home QCS LLC’s Company Policy and Terms of Use. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposits or additional fees.
11. Payment Terms
Payment terms for Hazard Services are outlined in the service description, agreement, estimate, or invoice. Invoices are due upon request or prior to service commencement. Additional fees may apply, but are not limited to:

Biohazard waste disposal

Pest Infestation Response
-
Expanded contamination scope
-
Access Complexity (e.g., stairs, difficult entries, crawl spaces)
-
Additional labor or materials
-
Specialized disposal or emergency response
-
Structural Remediation
Failure to remit payment may result in service suspension or collection actions as permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Home Sweet Home Quality Cleaning Services LLC and its subcontractors:
Are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, wear, or damage unrelated to contracted Hazard Services.
Limit liability to the direct cost of services performed.
Will comply with all health and safety regulations to minimize risk.
Clients release Home Sweet Home QCS LLC from liability for any incidental damage that is not directly caused by negligence within the scope of the contracted service.
13. Insurance & Liability
Home Sweet Home Quality Cleaning Services LLC maintains appropriate business insurance. Requests for Certificates of Insurance or Additional Insured endorsements must be submitted in writing and may incur additional fees.
Liability is limited to the cost of services rendered, except where prohibited by law.
14. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
Home Sweet Home QCS LLC reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, pause, or terminate Hazard Services if:

Conditions pose an immediate safety risk.

Conditions present undue risk to technicians.
-
Client-provided information is inaccurate or incomplete.
-
Payment or authorization requirements are not met.
-
Conditions violate applicable safety standards, laws, or regulations.
The client will be informed and may be provided options for safe alternatives or referrals.
15. Legal Compliance
All Hazard Services are performed in compliance with applicable Pennsylvania and New Jersey health and safety regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with local ordinances when applicable.
16. Governing Policies
This Hazard Services Policy operates in conjunction with:

Service Agreements and Invoices
In the event of a conflict, the signed service agreement shall govern.
17.) Acceptance of Agreement
By scheduling appointments, purchasing, or booking services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in our Plan Policy, Company Policy, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, and thereby enters into a legally binding agreement with Home Sweet Home QCS LLC. Clients acting on behalf of a company represent and warrant that they have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.
